Height of the tree only: 78 cm.
Width of the branches: 74 cm.
Ø of the trunk 9/10 cm.
Quality ivory enamelled pot: 56*43*8 cm.

A rare beauty, this Japanese snow bell (styrax japonicus) is from Master Shimizu's renowned nursery in Japan. The moyogi style tree blooms with pure white, yellow stamen flowers at the beginning of June. The grey veined bark appears to move with the tree's rhythm and there are many fine branches. It was worked on in 2013 by Master Kyoshi Murakawa, who repositioned some branches and cut two wounds that healed in 2014. The tree was repotted in March 2013 in Akadama earth.
