The wild juniperus of Osezaki The wild juniperus of Osezaki 14 elements

For amateur juniper bonsaists a spectacular and unique place exists in Japan, Osezaki. This is located near Numazu city in Suruga Bay, 125km south of Tokyo, more commonly known as Biwa island. The reefs and marine life attract scuba divers and the area is popular for water sports. However, for tree enthusiasts on the shores there stand gigantic wild juniperus chinensis that are several hundred years old.
