Trachelospermum asiaticum
Description
Height of the tree alone: 270 mm. Width: 250mm. Unglazed brick-colored pottery: 180*140*60 mm. Trunk +- 25/30 mm. Moyogi style. It is a Japanese vine of the jasmine family, slightly fragrant flowering, shiny green foliage with visible veins turning fiery red in autumn. Superb bonsai repotted in March 2023. This type of bonsai requires wintering protected from frost. Rare in culture for amateur collectors. The pruning of the structure which can be severe (we can only leave a few leaves it grows back well in this season only) will be done in full vegetation between mid May and mid June on the advice of Mr Hashimoto his breeder in Fukaya Japan who made them cuttings for about 25 years
In summer, very copious daily watering and fertilization with biogold from May to October once a month. A partially shaded place will be beneficial for it. Photographed in August 2024 sold without its tablet.
